FoodCrunch is a support hub for entrepreneurs, investors and companies committed to bringing positive change to the global food system. We believe the entrepreneurial model has the power to change our food system by piloting new ways of doing things, scaling innovations that work, and in the process creating new industries and jobs. The FoodCrunch ecosystem drives discovery, encourages risk-taking, tolerates failure, and gives organizations and individuals the resources they need to disrupt the food system. Our work bridges rural and urban contexts to cut across traditional barriers through unconventional convenings and our membership network. FoodCrunch focuses on the regional and national levels—always with a global lens. We founded FoodCrunch in 2009 to benefit entrepreneurs, investors, and companies committed to upgrading the food system. Our network is striving to: • Feed a global population of 9-10 billion by 2050 • Eliminate the negative environmental impacts of large-scale food production and distribution • Mitigate the food-created public health crises spreading across the globe
 In its first decade FoodCrunch helped spawn scores of new companies, founded a food-system accelerator and assisted the establishment of two food-focused venture firms— both actively investing in start-ups today. For decade two we have even more ambitious plans, stay tuned!
