Since we started, we have helped thousands of people to take their knowledge, skills and careers to the next level. We are specialists in Human Resources and Learning & Development training covering the full spectrum from entry-level courses through to postgraduate-equivalent qualifications. Our 30 expert tutors work at the forefront of new thinking and practice, and we’re delighted to have been recognised as one of the best CIPD training centres. We started life in 2007, in order to offer a more flexible and cost-effective alternative to existing CIPD courses. Our founder Julie Cook (a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, with a background in HR management) was working for the CIPD at the time. She noticed that too large a portion of student fees were going to college overheads and central student services. Which inspired her to set up Acacia Learning, whose model was to hire tutors and rooms only when needed, and provide many more study options, in order to better serve those with busy work schedules and lives. Since then Acacia has grown significantly, with more qualifications, study options, locations and major clients added every year.
