Deals are sourced from across the Yale network, then vetted, selected, and tracked by our experienced Investment Committee. Blue Ivy builds on Yale's rich history of producing alumni who create dynamic ventures. Blue Ivy goals are to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Yale, back promising Yale-alumni led businesses, provide investors with an opportunity to invest money in a key asset diversified among multiple ventures, and enable investors to connect with smart businesspeople and cutting-edge companies. It’s an experience with many levels of value to many participants. Blue Ivy Ventures was founded in 2016 and is led by Managing Partner David Shapiro (Yale '91). Its Investment Committee and investors includes experienced investors and entrepreneurs from around the country and across multiple generations.
