Marine Education Initiative (MEI), formerly known as Fishing for Families in Need (F4FN), is a nonprofit organization based in Boca Raton, FL that seeks educate the next generation of environmental stewards through hands-on sustainable fishing programs, while also engaging millennials and young people in exciting opportunities to further their knowledge and appreciation in protecting our marine ecosystems. We mainly operate in the South Florida area with smaller initiatives around the United States and the Caribbean. We seek to strategically partner with other nonprofits, companies, and individuals located in Florida and the Caribbean as well as the fishing industry to bring about an environmental and educational change.
