The Cambridge University International Development Society (also known as CUiD) has as its mission to provide a non-partisan platform to raise awareness of international development issues and to promote their open discussion. We organise speaker events, panel discussions, and open debates which stimulate dialogue between students, academics and development professionals from both developed and developing countries, and we encourage students to question their assumptions and opinions. Our termly magazine, Vision, provides another platform on which students can explore issues that interest them and voice their views. We are a member of the Cambridge Humanitarian Centre and the Cambridge Hub and are also a founding member of the U8 Global Student partnership for development.
