Open Data (GUARANTEE LIMITED) is a “not for profit organization” that intends to develop a large consortium of partners to develop an open platform for large data collection in Sri Lanka. This initiative to collate and process data from traditional data sets collected by government organizations as well as newer data sources such as IoT and smartphone usage. Once collected, this information could be used for many meaningful services and applications and develop a self sustainable model to be managed and through a consortium of partners.
