ONeill Events & Marketing
www.oneillevents.comHome Having a great moment doesn’t happen by chance. There’s no ticket you can buy to guarantee a timeless experience. There’s no recipe for brewing up the Midwest’s greatest pop-up party craft beer festival or any type of protocol for throwing a parade for a World Series Championship baseball team and 800,000 of its closest friends. “Ah-ha!”s and “Hmm..”s aren’t easily manufactured results of marketing, and neither are the clicks and shares that follow. The wonder of making such things happen, along with the wonder that people experience, comes from over-engineering and putting sometimes a little too much care into every detail. About O’NEILL THEN What started over fifty years ago as publicity and promotions for Starlight Theater, the Auto Show, the Boat Show, hockey, boxing and basketball, and managing local gubernatorial, mayoral and capital improvement campaigns, O’Neill Marketing & Event Management had its humble beginnings as O’Neill Communications, established by Pat O’Neill Sr. Pat O’Neill Jr. jumped into the business in 1984 after working as a country newspaper editor and proprietor of a boomtown bar in the mountains of Colorado. He earned his stripes, reputation, gray hair and wrinkles as a consultant, publicist and media spokesperson for entertainment venues, casinos, church organizations, hotels and civic issues in Kansas City and throughout the region. O’NEILL NOW From Boulevardia (45,000+ attendees) to Irish Fest (90,000+ attendees) and even the World Series Parade (remember those 800,000 Royals fans?), O’Neill Marketing & Event Management is proud to be behind the curtain of some of Kansas City’s most exciting, influential and memorable events. We can credit much of our success to crafting unique, experiential, mission driven experiences; seamlessly integrating the missions of our clients into the fabric of our festivals.
