PLAD Studio was founded in early 2010 by David Plummer and Justin Lowe. The partners, both Nashville natives, share a passion for great design, quality craftsmanship, and providing the best possible service to their clients. David Plummer, AIA, LEED AP, has over 20 years experience in commercial and residential architecture. As an Associate and Project Architect at Everton Oglesby Architects, David designed, developed, and implemented some of the region’s most significant civic, cultural, and institutional projects. After a short stint as a sole practitioner, David teamed with Justin Lowe, AIA, LEED AP, to form PLAD Studio. Justin has over 10 years of experience focused primarily on planning, educational, cultural, and residential work in several of Nashville’s most recognized design firms. As a Project Architect at Tuck-Hinton Architects, Justin designed and managed several successful projects at Nashville area schools and institutions of higher education. PLAD studio thrives on a balanced mix of commercial and residential projects – staying well versed in the detail of small projects, and in the spatial complexities of larger ones. We then enjoy applying that experience to both scales of project moving forward. The ability to create the larger vision, and follow it through to the detail at a personal scale, is what defines a successful PLAD Studio project.
