The Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR) is the professional body in charge of organizing, coordinating and authorizing the financial audit activity in Romania. The Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR) was established in 1999. The mission of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CFAR) is to build the identity and the public recognition of the financial audit profession in Romania, targeting the sustainable development of the profession and its strengthening. CAFR is a full member of: -IFAC (International Federation of Accountants), - Accountancy Europe, - EFAA (European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs), - PAEE (Professional Accountancy Education Europe) and an institutional member of IAAER (International Association for Accounting Education and Research).
