Gateway Disc Sports was founded in 1994 by David McCormack as a distributor of disc golf equipment. David has been involved in the sport of disc golf for over 30 years as a player, product designer, manufacturer, and premier course designer. David is credited with manufacturing the first professional disc golf bag and started manufacturing golf discs in 1998. Gateway gained world-wide acceptance as a leading disc manufacturer in 2002 with the introduction of the Wizard, consistently voted the best disc for putt & approach. David’s experience and passion for disc golf is evident in Gateway’s additions to its innovative and dynamic product line.
