Eterna Green Energy is developing a novel method for converting waste products into low-carbon gasoline that works with existing vehicles and infrastructure. The first facility will take-in 100,000+ tons/year of waste biomass from sawmills and loggers around Cortland, NY to convert it into 15 million gallons/year of low-carbon gasoline. By replacing fossil fuels with a source material that can be re-grown, the Eterna system uses carbon that is already a part of the natural carbon cycle, instead of releasing carbon that would have otherwise remained trapped underground for the foreseeable future. This single system will create jobs for the local economy, provide locally-sourced sustainable gasoline for consumers, and result in a profitable, long-term investment for investors.
