KSL Research provides training to probation officers, parole officers, judges and court staff, police officers and civilian staff, and others who work with criminal offenders. The training builds resilience by educating officers and others on responses to vicarious and secondary trauma. Using neuroscience as our base, KSL helps people to understand what happens neurologically, and then how to harness those naturally occurring responses to build resilience. Kirsten Lewis, our lead trainer, has conducted presentations and trainings in the US and Canada, and we have collected data from over 6000 officers and staff members.
