Revamp Rave Network is a climate change-based environmental conservation organisation that seeks to change the African climate narrative and push its climate agenda through high-impact capacity building programmes and projects through education. We create programmes and projects that are youth-led and community-driven with a keen focus on coastal communities, youths, women and children living in low to lowest-income communities in Nigeria, Africa and beyond. With a strategic effort to contribute our quota towards achieving Nigeria’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) set in the Paris Agreement through climate adaptation, we aim to ensure and create safe spaces through access to climate information, people influencing and promotion of culture while harnessing indigenous practice backed by modern learning methodologies to provide a more prosperous ecosystem, working with the furthest behind. We believe in a new kind of leadership - one that is driven by empathy, inclusion and empowerment at the core of its approach. Our Approach At the heart of our implementation strategy is the use of research, climate education and environmental advocacy to influence communities to rise and act against climate crisis using the resources and skills available to them to conserve nature’s biodiversity. With this, research and community engagement forms the summit of what we do. Our Mission To redefine climate education and advocacy by connecting young people and building communities for climate action through high impact capacity-building programmes.
