Opened in 2008, Shock City is one of the newest and most sizable "Large Format" recording studios in the mid-west. It is also home to Missouri’s only fully automated Solid State Logic console and is among a handful of studios nationwide that can boast a 1,100 square foot Live Room with a 24’ ceiling, as well as an elevated observation deck. Shock City's engineering staff has over 25 years of music composing, recording, and production experience working with major record labels (RCA/Jive,Universal/Motown, etc.), ad agencies (Maritz, Spot Creative, Group 360, Weremeyer), television programs (M-TV’s “Made”, Joyce Meyer Ministries), corporations (HP, Monsanto, Sierre Energy, AB InBev) and feature length films (“23 Minuets To Sunrise”, “Fatal Call”, “Lake Windfall, “Hating Breitbart”, “Casualties Of The State”).
