Opera Grill brings theatre on a grand scale to Chester with an internationally inspired grill using outstanding ingredients. It boasts a ground floor restaurant & bar, affectionately named the Grill Floor, a first floor Gallery Restaurant & Music Lounge, complete with bar, stage and private dining rooms, along with a south facing all year round Roof Terrace. Standing out from the crowd, our 400 seater restaurant is housed in a grand Grade II listed building featuring a distinct neoclassical Greek façade and mixes an industrial look with a touch of opulence inside. At the heart of our menu is the theatre charcoal grill and wood burning ovens, inspired by revered chefs and restaurants from around the world. The Grill Floor Restaurant features display fridges highlighting the vast range of fresh produce on offer, which includes a raw bar, cold counter, and dry ageing stores, stocked by our very own in-house butchers. The entertainment continues in our first floor Music Lounge, featuring a stage set for live acts and a mix of soulful classics performed by our Gospel Choir every Sunday. Opera Grill hosts an exciting programme of events which has recently included a residency from the iconic London music club Ronnie Scott’s as well as opera concerts from the ‘People’s Tenor’ Russell Watson and the chart-topping Jonathan Antoine.
