China Television Corporation ("CTC") was established in 1990 in California. CTC assists in the promotion and distribution of TV channels and content from China in North America via the pay TV and free to air market. CTC is also involved in market research, project management, TV production services and show support. It provides assistance in establishing signal transportation links across the ocean for live transmission of certain TV channels from China. China Television Corporation handles as the exclusive licensee of Chinese TV programming in North America as authorized by China TV Program Agency, the only TV copy-right agency in China that represents CCTV, the national television network, and all the major television station in China; coordinates Chinese television related business in North America; provides consultancy and assistance to foreign TV organizations, such as filming in China and co-productions; works for American clients for airing their commercials on Chinese TV channels and for Chinese clients who are interested in the American market; and organizes professional exchanges between Chinese TV professionals and their counterparts.
