Established in 1971, the Algoma Conservatory of Music is a non-profit, charitable music school affiliated with Algoma University and one of the largest in Ontario. Many of our outstanding teachers have relocated to Sault Ste Marie from across Canada, bringing their performance and teaching experience to hundreds of students every year. We have a wide range of classes and lessons for the whole community including: a selection of music classes for young children, lessons on all instruments and voice at all levels, student ensembles, combos, choirs, bands, youth orchestras, as well as special programs for adults from beginning to advanced levels.
