Harbor Creative Arts offers in-person art classes for ages 2 to 14 in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Classes explore drawing, painting, collage, and lots of materials! There is a focus on developing techniques balanced with open-ended exploration. Programs include weekly morning toddler classes called "Little Artists" and afterschool art classes for K-8, pop-up weekend workshops, vacation week art camps, and a new outdoor creative play space called "HCA Outside". Harbor Creative Arts is dedicated to providing an inspiring space, nurturing families, and cultivating a community. Classes introduce students to a variety of materials and techniques while encouraging individual exploration and outcomes. Most projects are very layered literally and figuratively, mixed-media based, and incorporate connections to artists, periods, contemporary issues, and enhance social-emotional skills. Students of all abilities and learning styles are welcome.
