Since the foundation of Bonwí 7 years ago, we have worked time and again on the development of new techniques in order to be able to exploit the creative potential of this wonderful material even further. A great milestone for Bonwi was the invention of our layer technique. Thanks to this patented technique, we are now the first felt manufacturer in the world to produce complex multicoloured patterns. Different modules in two to three layers are laid on top of each other on a felt surface, fixed and carefully sewn at the edges. In our search for the most beautiful patterns and the best raw materials, we encountered so many great colours that we could not help but create another collection. The result was BATUDO, a young and spirited collection that focuses on colours. But Batudo is more than just colour and felt alone. What makes Batudo so exciting is the combination of plain felt surfaces with a warp edge that sets completely new accents with its three threads. This unusual framework is made possible by a special overlock technique that we developed exclusively for Batudo. Perfect for seat cushions, sofa cushions, floor cushions, bench cushions, bed mattresses, corridor runners, baskets, poufs, stools, placemats, table runners, bags and glass coasters. Rich in contrast or tone in tone. The possibilities are limitless. Our company started 2011 in Germany and now we are expanding in United States.
