2G BioPOWER
www.2gbiopower.com2G BioPOWER develops bioenergy propositions and projects with the ultimate goal of delivering fully fungible transport biofuels from waste biomass, and used tyres. These are known as "Development Fuels" and are highly incentivised by the UK's Department for Transport. Projects work mainly using gasification and/or pyrolysis which can now be delivered at a commercial scale, some including upgrading of output products to hydrocarbon fuels. We are proud to be Scandinavian Enviro Systems representatives in the UK and recently carried out a Feasibility Study for a large scale tyre pyrolysis plant with the support of a £200,000 Innovate UK Grant using a technology that counts Michelin as it's major shareholder, and with input from a major US Oil Company. The results proved to be very favourable and led to the logical conclusion of Enviro having recently benefited from an offtake agreement, from the US Oil Major introduced by us, for European refinery trials of the oil produced from the process (TPO). On the15th of November 2022 the international oil company confirmed that these trials gave favourable results. This is now further backed up with a similar offtake agreement with a major European tyre manufacturer for recovered Carbon Black (rCB) for use in new passenger car tyre production trials. 5/10/22 STOP PRESS - ENVIRO RECOVERED CARBON BLACK (rCB) IN A WORLD FIRST as Enviro's major shareholder, Michelin, unveils two tyres approved for road use containing 45% and 58% of sustainable materials respectively.
