Alice for Children has been operating in Kenya since 2006, with the purpose of moving Nairobi’s slums children away from neglect and extreme poverty. Humanitarian projects in Kenya are addressed to the most vulnerable and affected part of population: the children from Nairobi’s slums, from the Masai community in Rombo, in the shade of Kilimanjaro. In Africa, particularly in these areas, child mortality is extremely high due to malnutrition, lack of drinking water and AIDS; in our orphanages and schools, we offer support and primary education to more than 3,000 children.
