www.csce.caCanadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) was founded in 1887 by leading Civil Engineers in Canada, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering is “a learned society intended to enhance the public image of the civil engineering profession and to develop and maintain high standards of civil engineering practice in Canada”. The primary goal of the CSCE: Ryerson Chapter is to serve as the representative entity for the CSCE. The CSCE: Ryerson Chapter will serve as a liaison between the CSCE and Ryerson university civil engineering students. The CSCE: Ryerson Chapter will strive to incorporate the objectives of the CSCE in its activities at Ryerson University and help civil engineering students at Ryerson to: ● Connect with the professional civil engineering community ● Expand their knowledge about past and current civil engineering projects and applications in the academic and professional worlds ● Explore career options in the academic and industrial worlds ● learn more about the services that the society offers through its membership ● Develop a sense of identity as a civil engineering professional
