Cygnus Asset Management is an independent investment management firm established in 2006. The firm currently manages assets of around $400 million, and employs 18 professionals. Cygnus has two alternative and absolute return investment management teams; one manages a long/short strategy specialized in the utilities, energy, renewables and infrastructure sectors, and the other focuses on event driven and special situation opportunities. Cygnus Asset Management is a registered investment manager with the CNMV and the SEC, recognized in the international institutional space with a large part of their investor base comprised of European and American investors.
