Wharton Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (WPEVC) is an exclusive and growing network of alumni who are leaders in private equity and venture capital investing around the globe. Founded in 1998, WPEVC represents the interests of those 3,500 Wharton and UPENN alumni. Our mission is to provide members with unique opportunities to exchange ideas and knowledge in a peer-only setting, to learn from industry experts and leading researchers, to enhance Wharton’s standing in the private investor community, and to support the constructive engagement of alumnae members with the school. WPEVC has grown to over 450 members with chapters in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco/Bay area, Texas and Washington, D.C., as well as a growing overseas presence in major cities including India, London and Pan Asia. Membership is limited to alumni who are GPs or LPs investing in leveraged buy-outs, growth capital, mezzanine, venture capital, distressed and secondaries.
