A member-driven organization, WWEMA is made up of many of the most prominent and influential companies in the industry who are working together to shape the future of water and wastewater technology in the U.S. and around the world. Our Vision To be the voice of water and wastewater technology providers at the federal, state, and local levels. Our Mission WWEMA, as the voice of water and wastewater technology providers, has as its mission to promote the advancement of technology solutions for clean water that ensures a future sustainable environment and to improve its members’ economic viability. Collaboration One of WWEMA’s key roles is to connect the needs, concerns, and goals of its members to those of the larger water community. To do so, WWEMA members sit on several committees within the water industry and with related associations (AWWA, WEF, and WateReuse) and liaise with major national, state, and municipal water and wastewater organizations. WWEMA staff and members sit on various technology committees, related industry advisory committees and boards, and the U.S. Department of Commerce Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee. Through information sharing, joint meetings, and co-signed letters of support, among other efforts, WWEMA collectively supports issues of critical importance to its members and the larger water industry.
