History Peter Ross originally set the company up in 1980 to help sell for and on behalf of manufacturers and after helping develop Cheshire Wholefoods Muesli business Wessanen BV bought both PA Ross and Cheshire Wholefoods. For 10 years we were the Sales & Marketing office for Wessanen. In that time we launched a number of their companies and their brands on to the UK market. These included the famous Oma's cake from De Graaf, Leerdammer Cheese from Baars, Kemps Frozen Yogurt - a low fat Ice Cream that was ahead of its time and Den Hertog Ice Cream. Over time we have worked with all the UK leading retailers. Many of these have disappeared from our streets - Fine Fair, Hillards, Wm Low, Kwik Save, Gateway, Lennons, Hanbury and Nevins. We launched both branded and own label Cereal & Cereal bars in leading UK retailers - M&S, Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda, Safeway, Morrisons working closely with buyers, NPD and technical teams as well as supply chain and marketing
