Our company has a long tradition, operating in Cerkno, Slovenia since 1947. For more than fifty years we have been cooperating with the German concern E.G.O., which is now the majority owner of the company. ETA Cerkno is one of the most important production units in the Group, which, due to its innovation and development, is at the very top of the production of household products and built-in components for household appliances. There are 21 manufacturing and distribution locations in 18 countries. The position in the Group enables us stability and the possibility of new investments in development and employees. We are the world's largest manufacturer of hotplates. We sold nearly five million of them last year. Cerkno has produced over nine million thermostats and nearly one million commercial casting products. Through E.G.O., we are present in global markets. Our major buyers of ETA are world's largest manufacturers of household appliances (Electrolux, Bosch - Siemens, Miele, Gorenje, Arcelik, Vestel, WHP, etc.).
