ASBAŞ- Antalya Free Zone is one of the first two free trade zones established in June 6, 1985 and commenced operating in November 14, 1987 in Turkey. ASBAS is owned both public (44%) and private (56%). Free zones offer more convenient and flexible business climate aiming to increase trade volume and export by creating tax advantages and ease in bureaucracy. Investors are free to construct their own premises, while zones have also available office spaces or warehouses on rental basis with attractive terms. All field of activities open to Turkish companies are also open to joint-venture of foreign companies.
