Embrace Benefits
www.embracebenefits.comEmbrace Benefits focuses on helping organization manage and control their healthcare spend. Insurance costs continue to rise and all other examples of government regulation has always resulted in inefficient markets and an increase in costs. We only have to look at the industries that deregulated after three decades of government regulations in the late 70's. Our strategy consists of three central themes. First, companies of all sizes must establish population risk management programs - also known as wellness programs. The goal is to keep the healthy people healthy. We utilize education, counseling, technology, and incentives to motivate employee behavior. Second, the cost of care is the primary contributor to increasing health insurance rates. The Institute of Medicine at the National Academies released a report on 9/6/2012 identifying 30% of all medical costs as a combination of waste and fraud. Our programs create transparency in the marketplace by providing real data to our employers, the ultimate payor of ever increasing healthcare bill. The concept is simple - reduce the underlying costs and we can increase the benefit levels. Finally, we seek out the innovators and entrepreneurs that are already deploying ideas and technologies to reduce the healthcare spend. These include transparent pharmacy managers, specialized care managers and emerging technologies.
