Founded by the country’s leading authority on dry eye, Professor James Wolffsohn has dedicated his career to academia, research and development. Wolffsohn Research is a continuation of that work, with the aim of simplifying the complex, automating the mundane and using technology to provide a better experience for both clinicians and patients. In just 3 years, with a small and agile team, we have: •Design and developed one of the world's most advanced mobile vision testing platforms - OPTOM CENTRAL. •Prototyped a MEIBOMIAN GLAND EXPRESSOR and LID INVERTER for patient testing. •Designed and built 15+ HALOMETERs for worldwide medical trials. The only device capable of consistently measuring patient dysphotopsia. •Worked with a leading charity within Northern Ireland to project manage and produce an immersive virtual reality simulator for visual impairments.
