Founded by master rodmaker Marc Aroner, the Spinoza Rod Company is devoted to building the world's best bamboo fly rods and celebrating the history and craftsmanship of fly fishing. Aroner has long been associated with this unique craft. Starting with his early years at Thomas & Thomas and later at the HL Leonard Rod Company, he has been building premium fly rods for nearly 45 years. His fly rods are especially recognized for their exquisite dry fly tapers and modern Catskill styling. Only a small number are produced each year. In addition to building rods, the Spinoza Rod Company also consigns and sells premium bamboo fly rods, vintage fly reels, and antique and collectable angling items.
