Oblix is the latest venture of chef and restaurateur Rainer Becker, founder of the globally successful Zuma and Roka restaurants. Situated in Europe’s tallest building, The Shard, Oblix offers sophisticated, urban dining alongside breath-taking, panoramic views of London City. The impressive views at Oblix bring to mind another iconic skyline: that of New York. Taking this as inspiration for the menu, Oblix offers dishes from the Josper, spit roast and wood-fired ovens at the heart of the open kitchen. Seasonal, locally sourced produce features heavily on the menu, while our in-house butcher ensures the very finest cuts. Rainer worked closely alongside renowned architect Claudio Silvestrin on all design aspects of Oblix, creating a sleek environment based on a warm palette of colours, natural elements and textures. Oblix offers a dual dining experience: One side features an elegant dining room, which guests enter through the dynamic energy of the open kitchen; the other a relaxed bar lounge serving expertly crafted cocktails, deli lunches and a la carte menus.
