The Master Builders Association (East Cape) was formed in Port Elizabeth South Africa in January 1898. The MBA is a non profit employers organisation which represents the rights and interests of building industry employers throughout the Southern and Eastern Cape regions of South Africa. The MBA encompasses a range of member companies from the small emerging to large established contractors in all sectors of the building industry including General Building, alterations & additions, plumbing, electrical, painting, glazing, waterproofing, ceiling, flooring, tiling and carpentry contractors as well as associate members supplying materials, goods, plant and equipment or professional services. The MBA is a corporate member of the Master Builders South Africa and represents its members interests on this national body.
