Originally started in the kitchen. Absolute Green was created as an alternative to synthetic fragrances and toxic cleaners. Our Founder Karen who has chemical sensitivities, developed respiratory and health issues from a home improvement project when she brought home toxic cleaners and paints. Not wanting this to happen to anyone else or a to a pet, she started perfecting some formulas she had started years earlier. She also became a LEED AP specialist in indoor air quality and sustainability while developing the product line. Mixing up small batches in her home, Karen started selling products at local farmers' markets and festivals. Eventually, the buckets turned into barrels and we are now in a warehouse as a full-on manufacturing company. Even though our space is bigger we are still made in small batches with our team some of which are retirees, parents, students, and military vets. We are certified Bio-Based (USDA), Vegan Certified, PETA Approved, WBENC (Women-Owned Business), and Green Seal & UL reviewed and audited.
