My firm offers a mixture of public and private accounting services. As a public accountant, I offer the traditional CPA services of monthly/quarterly bookkeeping, payroll tax/1099 preparation, and business tax preparation. I also offer what I call “private accounting services” that include part-time controller services and virtual accounting. These services enable a small business access to high level “internal” accounting services at a reasonable cost. Small businesses can have the advantage of an internal CPA working for their business without the cost of a full time Controller. This service also offers valuable oversite of bookkeepers and accounting clerks in the absence of an Accounting Manager.
