Growing up in England, Catherine (Kate) learned to appreciate great design, and through her families passion for travel all things beautiful inspired her. Whether it was through the history of art, furniture, the written word or a beautifully appointed dinner table, Catherine learned the value of “all things beautiful and excellent.” She is a graduate of Design & Visual Communications from Ryerson University and Interior Decorating from Seneca College in Toronto, Canada. With a career spanning over 25 years, Catherine has taken her big Brand Marketing experience, Interior Retail Store, Furniture, Fixturing and Retail Display Design to the Residential Interior arena. She quickly earned a reputation for having an exceptional eye for colour and design and a deep commitment to finding unique pieces and offering outstanding personal service. Catherine’s design theory is to render a space for its ultimate purpose, encompassing both functionality and beauty. She draws inspiration from everywhere she travels and combines both her client ideas with her own expert vision, resulting in the creation of truly unique and captivating interiors. Catherine is also a Certified Staging Professional (CSP™). Catherine’s current projects include the interior of a model home for one of Ottawa’s premier custom home builders, Inverness Homes, Ottawa, ON (Invernesshomes.ca) and interior design for numerous new homes in the Toronto, Oakville, Ottawa and valley areas.
