Trigg Mining is helping to secure the world’s most nutritious food sources, by developing long-life, low-cost, primary sources of natural Sulphate of Potash (SOP) at Lake Throssell in Western Australia. SOP is an essential fertiliser for high value food crops, especially those sensitive to chlorine and in arid soils such as avocados, coffee and cocoa. With an increasing global population and reducing area of arable land, chemical-free sources of SOP will become increasingly important for food security.
