Silicon Africa is an organization partnering with African nations, provinces, and cities to identify main economic hub cities in provinces across African countries. The organization then works with main economic hub cities to transform its sectors of the economy to be driven by technology entrepreneurship and innovation. Silicon Africa works with the city a develop technology entrepreneurship and innovation plans and programs. The organization works with the city and the province to set up a technology entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem and committee that is a group of key local stakeholders consisting Corporates, High learning institutions, NGOs, Business Forums, industry leaders, community leaders, media companies, entrepreneurs, and investors. An ecosystem that will contribute to the sustainability and growth of technology entrepreneurship and innovation in the city. Each main city in a province that is partnering with Silicon Africa is named and developed to be a hub for technology entrepreneurship and innovation in its province that works with other small cities as its partners. Once the city’s technology entrepreneurship and innovation plans, programs, and ecosystems are developed they are then onboarded to Silicon Africa digital platform that connects all Silicon Africa cities to connect, partner, build local and international bridges.
