The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau, which was founded in 1992, stimulates economic development by promoting Snyder, Union, and Northumberland Counties in Central PA as a desirable tourist destination. The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau provides information and services to visitors and area residents, advances the image of hospitality in the region, facilitates the development of tourism resources, and educates business leaders and members. The Visitors Bureau has five full-time staff (Executive Director, Marketing Director, Member Services Director, Visitor Center Manager, and Visitor Information Specialist) and three part-time: Bookkeeper, Visitor Information Coordinator and Brochure Distributor.
