The Exponentialists is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created and led by a team of students from The University of Texas at Austin. Our Mission: Empower. We are here to empower young people in low-resource communities to achieve exponential success through entrepreneurship. We call them Exponentialists. Our Purpose: With nearly half the world’s population living on less than $2.50 per day, there are millions of young people who have the entrepreneurial spirit and raw talent to create great things, but their economic hardships prevent them from the education and opportunity to realize that potential. We find, educate, and empower low-resource youth to better their lives and the communities around them. Our Programs: RISE, an after-school entrepreneurship program; Launch, an incubator to bring students’ business ideas to life; Podcast, a podcast featuring real-life entrepreneurs; Colombia, an extension of RISE in Medellin, Colombia. Our Impact: Our students become ACTUAL entrepreneurs. Our programs help students tackle every aspect of entrepreneurship, from brainstorming an idea to learning from successful entrepreneurs. Our students don’t just open a textbook. They see the FULL entrepreneurial cycle in action, from creation to monetization, through hands-on activities and one-on-one mentorship. We help students create impactful businesses that better their own lives and the lives around them to change the world one business idea at a time.
