Viviano Flower Shop has been family-owned and operated since 1937 when Frank P. Viviano founded the business on Kercheval in Detroit beneath the long shadows of the Great Depression. With a cigar box for a cash drawer and lessons learned from past business failures, Frank Viviano, Sr. was open for business. Before long he purchased a store at the corner of Cadillac and Forest in Detroit. This site served as the main store of Viviano Flower Shop until 1962.
