Tugboat offers investment opportunities in high potential start-up companies, providing individuals unique access to high-risk/high-return investments. Investments are made on a case-by-case basis, allowing a high degree of identification of “trickle-investors” (our customers) with their investments. Tugboat’s officers, themselves entrepreneurs, work on a voluntary (unsalaried) basis. Their prime motivation is to invest their private savings into exciting projects, and offer the same opportunities to other interested individuals. The transaction costs are kept low: Apart from a success fee to cover legal costs, no further management, broker or placement charges are accrued.
