Oleme tehnilist haridust pakkuv kutseõppekeskus. Meil saab omandada kutsekeskharidse, 2 - 5 taseme oskustöölise kvalifikatsiooni. Iga töömehe eesmärgiks on olla oma ala meister - ennast väärtustav, distsiplineeritud ja tööle pühendunud oskustööline, kes suudab hakkama saada kiirelt muutuvas ning arenevas maailmas - VIKKi õpetajad ja töötajad on loonud selle eesmärgi täitumiseks vajalikud eeldused. Meil on tublid õpetajad, kaasaegne õpikeskkond, toredad partnerid, hea koostöö ettevõtjatega. Siit saadud haridusega on ennast täiendades ja õppides võimalik saada meistriks, jätkata oma haridusteed. ---------------------- Vocational education institution has been in Vana-Võidu since 1921. The present school, Viljandi Vocational Training Centre, has been here since 1999 as a result of a merger of two vocational schools. Today we are a public school with 50 teachers and 40 supportive staff. We have 750 vocational students. In addition there are 500 students in different trainings. The fields we teach in construction department: general construction, renovation of stone and wooden buildings; electricity, masonry, carpentry, plumbing- ventilation- heating. ... in car and metal department: car technicians, car painters, car panel beaters, truck and bus drivers; welding. ... in service and IT department: junior IT system specialist, junior software developer; cooking/catering, waiter. Co-operation with local enterprises and other vocational schools both in Estonia and all over Europe is important for us. We think our strength is innovative approach to vocational education, flexible studying possibilities, open cooperation with employers, local government and other interested parties.
