Our chapter serves IMA members in all of San Diego County with Continuing Professional Education, Networking and CMA Certification support. Our guiding theme for our activities is that "It's All About Our Members". We offer two types of Continuing Professional Education events to our members. We hold bi-monthly technical dinner meetings on the third Thursday of alternating months at EY's offices in the Golden Triangle area. In months without a dinner meeting, the Chapter sponsors the San Diego Controller's Council, which meets at lunch time CBIZ. Check out our Events page for the details of upcoming meetings. Professional networking is an important part of everyone's career development. Don't wait until you need a job to start building solid professional relationships in the San Diego finance and accounting community. Good networking is based on developing mutually beneficial relationships. Great ways to do this are to regularly attend professional association events, like IMA meetings, and getting involved as a volunteer to showcase your talents. The Council provides leadership education and training, mentoring to chapter leaders and the opportunity to network with IMA leaders throughout Southern California, Arizona, Southern Nevada, New Mexico and Utah.
