His recent engagements include setting up of a Lead Powder Atomization plant in Egypt. He has been involved in setup, modernization and process improvements at various Zinc Dust Plants across Canada, India and Namibia. He played an instrumental role in setting up 6*1500 tons per annum capacity Atomized Aluminium Powders plant in Himachal Pradesh through his detailed inputs on engineering and design drawings. Amitabh has been actively contributing to a research project for development of Indigenous Chaff material, in collaboration with Dept. of Metallurgical Engineering, IIT BHU, Varanasi, of which he is a meritorious alumnus (Batch of 1981).
