A 501(c)(3) non-profit that fosters health applications of artificial intelligence, through inclusive education and training. Our motto: Aurora Autem Veritatis, (Latin for: dawn of truth). The organization was initially formed as an informal meeting group for researchers from the Columbia University Medical Center in the city of New York. In 2017, as the group saw dramatic growth, the organizers decided to create NYHAIS. Our mission is to leverage the incredible health eco-system in the New York area and merge it with the local tri-state area tech talent. As a non-profit we are focused in delivering an inclusive, welcoming and easy to access education and training around health applications of artificial intelligence.
