Winner of OpenTable Diner’s Choice Awards throughout 2015/16, HotBox is London’s favorite new BBQ and craft meats restaurant. Having smoked our way around the capital with street food pop-ups and residencies, we’ve parked ourselves permanently in Shoreditch above our own experimental basement cocktail bar, 46 & Mercy. At HotBox we use a combination of kiln dried Hickory and Oak in our 1-tonne Rotisserie Smoker. The meat is dry-rubbed and cooked low and slow(ly) to create tender, succulent cuts that melt in the mouth. Be careful though, there's plenty of spice to get those taste buds fired up! About 46 & Mercy . . . HotBox resides in a former Street Art gallery and our basement Cocktail Bar, 46 & Mercy, pays homage to the space with original works from the likes of Blek Le Rat, Pure Evil, Robbo and D-Face to name a few. On weekends you’ll find our DJ’s playing anything from alternative house, funk to hip hop. So take a seat, chill out and take the time to work your way through our selection of seriously delicious cocktails.
