Minis and Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are a group of caring people and horse lovers dedicated to sharing the love and spirit of miniature horses to those who need special, tender care. Our organization was specially created by a group of friends who want to share this exciting equine experience with you. Our unique programs tailor activities for children with disabilities, at-risk youth, individuals in transition, and elder adults to improve their motor skills, ability to connect, tactile response, use of senses and spirits through interaction with miniature horses. We use a technique developed by us "Equine Guided Interactions" (EGI) provide the children, youth and elders in our community faced with special needs and circumstances with a unique equine experience that will lift their spirits and bring hope and healing into their lives. We are an all Volunteer organization and 100% of our donations go back to the care, transportation, visits and events, yearly medical and dental, monogrammed halters and leads, service vests and sashes and for our give-aways which we leave as a gift from the minis to the children and seniors.
