My name is Kynse Leigh Agles and on August 31, 2017 I received the gift of life in the form of a simultaneous kidney and pancreas transplant. My journey began when I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when I was 10 years old. Living with Type 1 diabetes for 27 years eventually caused me to go into stage 5 kidney failure. My nephrologist referred me to Tampa General Hospital to receive a kidney and pancreas transplant which would be a treatment for my kidney failure and also Type 1 diabetes. I have documented the entire process of my organ transplant journey through facebook live and uploaded the videos from the time I received my life saving call, me going into surgery, my first steps after surgery, leaving the hospital during a hurricane, and meeting the family (that has now become my own) of Elijah Mayhew whom saved six lives through organ donation when he passed. I have a 501c3 Foundation called Don't Bury Good Organs and I own a real estate brokerage in Fort Myers, FL RE/MAX DREAM!
