We have made it our mission to merge two of the most beautiful things in the world: SKATEBOARDING X ART Two scenes that are characterized by diversity, self-confidence, openness and passion in their creations. Over the past years we have accompanied both communities and feel that a closer union is an important step. Both cultures and their creators can inspire and enrich each other. C U R A R E is not only a skateboard brand but sees itself as an interface in communication and curates international artists from different fields and styles on high quality skateboards. In collaborations artists design by hand a very limited number of C U R A R E skateboards, which are then presented and sold by us in organized exhibitions. We see the skateboard as a canvas and give the artists a free hand in the design. Personal, creative development is important to us and the results are always unique. Even if the artist collection would be suitable for riding, we offer the designs as replicas in our store. We attach great importance to the highest quality and all our boards are subjected to quality testing in Berlin. Of course we know that skateboards are made of wood and can break at some point depending on the stress. But we want to encourage you not to throw away your old board but to support us in our upcycling project.
